Under various waivers and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a family member can become a care provider for their loved ones and get paid for providing the service. Residential/PCA/Host Home: If a client is wishing to utilize the Family Caregiver Model with residential services, we provide the family 80% of the Medicaid reimbursement while the remaining 20% is used for administrative, training, and supervisory purposes. After 6 months, we will then provide 85% of the Medicaid reimbursement to the family.
